"I have been living in Ellisras / Lephalale for more than 30 years - in the heart of the Bushveld, where all three of our children were raised. I love to travel and had the privilege to visit several countries around the world. I must admit that I am not very useful in the kitchen, but I really enjoy doing any kind of craft.
WAU is my passion and I find it very enriching to be actively involved in the activities of the WAU. It is gratifying to see how members empower themselves and develop their talents."

"I am grateful towards my Creator for giving me the opportunity to be involved at the WAU where I can enrich myself, realize and develop my talents and be surrounded by other talented women. Some of the things that I strongly dislike are gossip, strife, pride, pedantry, when someone underestimates my intelligence, going to the gym and ironing! Being in the Kruger National Park with close friends and family helps me find myself once again when life gets too busy - there I feel truly happy, as if I'm the richest girl in the world! I really enjoy reading, embroidery, sewing and browsing around at an art market. I appreciate life and enjoy every day of womanhood!"

"I was born at the foot of the Soutpansberg in Louis Trichardt, a place I still call my home. I am involved in the local Rotary Club. In 1995 I joined the Hanglip WAU brand. On 29 Oct. 2002 we established a night branch, Aandblom, where I am still a member. In November 2003 I started my own business, but I remain involved full-time in my husband's business. John and I have been married for 28 years. Our daughter, Vinita, recently began with her articles at an auditing firm in Pretoria. Having a hobby is just a nice idea in my busy life at the moment! Traveling is first on my to-do list, and I am privileged to say that I have visited a few places in South Africa, Namibia, Swaziland, Botswana and also a few places overseas. Reading and watching movies is also part of my interests"

"I live in Honeydew, Johannesburg. It's the best place to be. I handle the finances of our business and is a full-time
grandmother, because my daughter works.
We were a group of friends who played tennis once per week for 20 years. Now I play at the club once a week and enjoy it very much. Our family loves action holidays therefore we walk a lot and we are also scuba divers. I love to read and is part of a academic book club.
I also enjoy baking and spending time with my grandchildren."
